Fadli Idris hanya manusia biasa yang butuh belajar banyak untuk bisa meyelesaikan hidup ini. Lahir dan disebarkan di Aceh, menjalani pendidikan baik formal maupun non formal juga di Aceh dan sekarang menetap juga di Aceh. Tidak punya keahlian apa-apa selain menghabiskan sisa jatah hidup yang tidak diketahui oleh siapapun kapan habis masa berlakunya.
Punya cita-cita keliling dunia dengan kapal layar, tapi sampai saat ini belum mempersiapkan apapun demi cita-cita mulia. Mulia menurut saya belum tentu buat anda.
Sering dipanggil cutlie atau shino dikalangan kawan-kawan, suka atau tidak dengan panggilan tersebut itulah realitas yang harus diterima oleh seorang yang bernama lengka Fadli bin Idris.

Fadli Idris is an Acehnese and a Information Technology activist. He started to blog in www.fadli.web.id since 2002. Along with the peace development and advanced reconstruction after Tsunami that opened more access and sense of security to express ideas, he initiated blogging movement for young communities in Banda Aceh. He is one of the young IT pioneers in Aceh Blogger Community (ABC) established in October 2007. ABC has more than 300 registered members and involved in various activities to develop IT in Aceh. It organized IT training and seminar, online campaigns, and developing several websites for public interests. Their notable works include the development of Acehpedia, Wikipedia in Acehnese language, and development of online dictionary of Acehnese language – Indonesia by using PHP and MySQL programming. Fadli is dedicated to support the growth, development, and dissemination of knowledge by using information technology to strengthen IT as tools for social change in Aceh. Fadli supports himself as a freelancer in web designer, developer, IT consultant for several institutions, and have a strong interest to write on history and learn more about culture.
